Pak Protectors (From Larry Niven’s “Known Space” Universe)- Phoenix E. James

The Pak are one of the several alien races inhabiting “Known Space”. They are hyper intelligent, and warlike by nature, and fight viciously to protect their bloodlines. First seen in the story “The Adults” later collected and renamed “Protector”, the Pak have since been seen in other series by Niven such as the later portion of his acclaimed “Ringworld Saga” and the “Fleet of Worlds” series all of which also take place in the “Known Space Universe”
